Dr. Trace Alexander
Lead Practitioner at Legacy Pain and Regenerative Medicine
Dr. Trace Alexander is a dual-licensed clinician who has dedicated nearly three decades to restoring function and vitality for patients across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Since 1996, he has specialized in treating a diverse range of conditions—from acute sports injuries and auto accidents to complex chronic pain—by blending the structural precision of chiropractic care with the diagnostic depth of family medicine.

Dr. Alexander’s unique "whole-health" philosophy was born from a desire to provide patients with a truly comprehensive toolkit for recovery. After earning his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, he recognized that some patients required a bridge between traditional chiropractic adjustments and medical intervention. This led him to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing from Samford University, qualifying him as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This rare dual-specialization allows him to expertly determine when a patient is best served by manual therapy, regenerative medicine, or pharmaceutical support.

With a background spanning family medicine and sports performance, Dr. Alexander has performed over 2,000 independent medical examinations and reviews, establishing him as a trusted authority in the field. At Legacy Pain and Regenerative Medicine, he offers a sophisticated array of treatments, including clean needle acupuncture, joint injections, and advanced regenerative therapies.

Whether he is tailoring a nutritional supplement program or utilizing neuromodulators like Botox and Xeomin for therapeutic relief, Dr. Alexander remains committed to a single goal: helping his patients in Lewisville and the surrounding areas reclaim their quality of life through education and evidence-based care.
